1. Does power washing kill my spiders?
Answer: No, they just take a bath and they’re back in 3 days!

2. Do spiders have more than one hatch per season?
Answer: Yes, that’s why we recommend 2 or 3 sprays per season for optimum control. (See Services)

3. Can a spider bite kill me?
Answer: No, the odds of that happening are long and the bite would have to be left untreated! Note: Medically speaking, I know of only a couple of species to fear in our region: Brown Recluse & Hobos. Wear gloves when moving wood piles.

4. What spiders are poisonous?
Answer: All of them! However, the vast majority either cannot pierce your skin or the poison is too low of a dose for humans, just their insect victims.

5. But I have heard of people that lost a limb from a spider bite. How is that possible then?
Answer: The person was either untreated or treated too late and they had low immunity or resistance.

6. Then how will I know when to get treated?
Answer: To err on the side of caution is wise! If you experience swelling, redness, itching, or burning then seek medical help.

7. After you sprayed my home, I still had webs. Do I still have spiders?
Answer: No, or probably not. They are old webs! Note: If you only see a single spider strand coming from your home, then that means the spider died and the solution is working.

8. Can one spray get me through a whole season?
Answer: No. Years back, before extensive testing methods were perfected, we had products like DDT that could last a whole season. However, today’s legal chemicals do not protect as long, in the interest of safety.

9. What do you mean by “Guarantee”?
Answer: You paid for a service and you deserve your money’s worth. That means NO BUGS! If you continue to have a problem, don’t get upset, just call us and we will re-treat the problem area. You must be bug-free and happy, within 60 days, from the date of service. Your guarantee is our promise for future business!

10. What insects ARE covered under my guarantee?
Answer: The general or specific pest called for and over 28 other species of pests, within the treated area.

11. What bugs ARE NOT covered under my guarantee?
Answer: The following Target Pests are NOT covered under your standard Maintenance Treatment: BED BUGS, Termites, European and/or Ground Hornets, Cluster Flies, Pharaoh Ants, Drain Flies, Fleas, Powder Post Beetles, Carpenter Ants, East German Yellow Jackets, Carpenter Bees, Cockroaches, and Mice. These are covered ONLY when specifically treated for them.

12. Your chemicals are lethal to Target Pests, so why no guarantee under standard Maintenance?
Answer: Target Pests require a different method to eradicate them. Standard Maintenance or external treatment only covers a percentage or small portion of that problem.

13. Won’t a maintenance treatment kill some of the target pests?
Answer: Yes, it will help, but not enough to make a difference with tough or hard to kill Target Pests. To avoid dissatisfaction, our customers must be informed about how our guarantee is implied.

14. You treated me for CARPENTER ANTS. Are FLEAS also covered?
Answer: No, each of the specialized Target Pests requires an individual and/or specific type of treatment or different type of chemical. (Refer to price list)

15. What if I see pests close to the end of my guarantee period?
Answer: If you have 3 days left on your guarantee and see spiders, again, we will promptly spot treat the spiders since you called in time. Note: Any request for complete coverage will be a Standard Maintenance charge.

16. Where did you come up with the idea for the 60-day guarantee?
Answer: We back the manufacturer’s guarantee of 60 days, although it generally lasts longer. (Refer to weather)
